Boracay Island Hopping
Again, this is part of the bundled activities we availed from our guide. I think he gave it to us at Php1,200 with free use of snorkel.
Right after the ATV ride, we went back to White Beach and our boat was already waiting for us. But first our guide asked for Php20.00 to buy bread for the fish feeding. We also had to pay Php100.00 for the Coast Guard Fee (?). They said this is mandatory.
Our first stop was at a snorkeling site (sorry I don't know the name of the exact part). Even though the snorkeling equipment was included in the price, we still had to pay Php20.00/pax for snorkeling on the site. There were some fish in the area but I think Coron has more diverse marine life than in here. Nevertheless, BF enjoyed it. As for me, well I'm not really fond of snorkeling as I always have a problem breathing through the mouthpiece and end up drinking saltwater! Yuck!
While island hopping, our boatmen also fished using their improvised reel. Actually, nylon string lang ata talaga ang gamit nila hehe.
Like our guide, the boatmen discouraged us to go to Crystal Cove since we have to pay Php200.00/pax entrance and they said it's not worth it daw. We didn't want to shell out more money for this so we just skipped this and went to Puka Beach for lunch.
Like in any other part of Boracay, locals will approach you in hopes of selling what they have so you just have to be patient and politely decline.
After having lunch here, we went on our way back to White Beach passing by the more high-end hotels and resorts in Station 1 such as Shangri-la Boracay and Manny Pacquiao's Boracay West Cove.
